AKMax Consulting history
Lead consultant Akiko Matsumura first started working with JD Edwards with a Japanese IT consultancy Toppan-Moore Systems in London in 1988. Toppan-Moore was the first Japanese partner with JD Edwards and the founders of the company visited their London office.
Akiko continued with the company then went freelance specialising in Finance and Distribution modules. She supplemented her knowledge with ACCA and CIMA accountancy and finance courses. Akiko became self employed working through her small incorporated company.
Akiko worked on many projects in UK, EU, US and Japan for British, American, Australian, Japanese, French and Dutch companies. During this time she graduated MBA at Open University, UK (accredited AMBA). She also became a Prince2 Practitioner in project management.
The strength of Akiko and support of AKMax is we are culturally bilingual in English and Japanese. We understand the work cultures of western and Japanese companies. We are familiar with accounting standards of UK, US and Japan.
